Earlier this month, CometChat was fortunate enough to exhibit at Web Summit, the largest technology conference in Europe. Web Summit was attended by over 70K people November 2nd - 4th in Lisbon, Portugal. Lisbon is actually the second oldest capital in Europe behind Athens. To say the streets are filled with history is an understatement.
While the city alone is worthy of a visit, we were there for business! We had the chance to connect with people from 50 countries from around the world. While most were based in Europe ,we saw people from every corner of the globe. It is truly amazing to feel the power of vision and entrepreneurship at Web Summit.
There were so many amazing companies looking to tackle some of the greatest challenges we face today. We can't wait to connect with all of the folks we met with to see how CometChat can help elevate their customer engagement through user-to-user chat.
While the days were long at the conference, we made a point to explore as much as we could of the city in the evening. After all, explorers such as Vasco de Gama, Christopher Columbus and Ferdinand Magellan all left on their explorations from this great city. We took in the sites of the Alfama, Bairro Alto, Belem and Chiado. We fell in love with the tile and art throughout the whole city as well as the charming cafes and restaurants.
